FRIDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL. GAME #1.

It was hot...very, very hot. I was just dripping w/ sweat...even after it got dark. I left at half time and went back for Gene later.

Del Rio VS Marshall High School from San Antonio. As you can see there weren't many Marshall fans there. Final score Del Rio 20-Marshall 10.

Other News: Sorry, this blog is different than my last one...the set up is weird and I can't figure it out. So, apologies...I'm still figuring it out. Opened up a local bank acct.
Having trouble getting the truck to start and my car is still in Pecos. Will take it into the shop on Monday. Glad we have bicycles.
There are alot of runners and walkers here...we live near a big park w/ jogging trails.
Everybody in our neighborhood has at least 2 dogs and 5 cats. That means I need to acquire 3 more cats.
Gene had to go to a 6 hr. workshop today. He's already had the training but stupid Iraan ISD never gave him a certificate to prove he'd had it so he has to do it again.

WELCOME TO MY NEW BLOG!!!

G'bye Pecos...Hello Del Rio.

I like the downtown area and the historic district. This is a shop called Buffalo Girls and next door is a fantastic deli called The Brown Bag....they are owned by the same person.
This is the cast of the musical "CHICAGO". We went and saw this play last Saturday night at the old Rita movie theatre (built in 1947) that is now owned by the City of Del Rio. The local community theatre group are called "The Upstagers" and are quite talented.


There alot of bugs here...in a kinda cool way. In our backyard we have lightening bugs, praying mantis',   many kinds of butterflies and tons of dragonflies...and some bats.
