| A few weeks ago we went downtown to the local "Taste of the Town"...it was disappointing but not a total loss. No matter what occaision there's ALWAYS some beauty queens. The girl on Gene's left is one of his students. |

| Once a month 2 of our neighbors pay to get water from the over 100 year old canal system. It runs twice a week. This is just a tiny tributary. This cat was really mad that he got stuck on the side he did NOT want to be on. |

| That wooden thingie can be moved to flood different parts of the yards and pecan trees. The water comes from San Felipe Springs. |

| Mommie deer and her baby in Lakeway. We visited Kay's Mom (Maxine) while we were there. The baby was bleating like a sheep. |

| Jeez...did I not have my glasses on? A very out of focus photo of Toby's hand. He had an accident with a huge firecracker and is healing well. The doctor did a great job during his 3 1/2 surgery. Maybe it's best I didn't have my glasses on...pretty gross. |
