This is an old motel on the railroad tracks in a ghost town that's called Shumla. It sorta creeped us out. There were big animal bones in one of the "rooms". |
In the 1930's Shumla had a couple of hundred residents. They all dried up and blew away in the 1950's. |

Great pics, as usual. That is some really beautiful scenery. I, too, wonder what the town was like when the buildings were new and who lived there and what they did.
