Brown Plaza was dedicated on Cinco De Mayo 1908 and has served as a gathering spot for musical concerts, political rallies and formal promenades. It was restored in 1969. George Washington Brown (1836-1908) was the donor of the plaza. It gets flooded sometimes. It's a lovely place and we enjoyed it very much. Gene sees his students everywhere we go. |
